The mission of the West San Gabriel Valley Association of REALTORS is to advocate and enhance the interests of REALTORS; to promote adherence the REALTOR Code of Ethics and professional competency of members; to safeguard and preserve private property rights, always mindful of cultural backgrounds within our communities. West San Gabriel Valley Association of Realtors has been appointed as the Ambassador Association to CAREB/Taiwan by National Association of REALTORS®. Becoming a part of the National Networks Program to helping build and strengthen alliances around the globe.
西聖蓋博谷房地產協會以為強化REALTORS®的專業領域，道德操守以及權益，保障私有財產權，融合社區中不同文化的背景為最高宗旨。本公會為全美房地產協會(NAR)所任命對中華民國(台灣)不動產仲介經紀商業同業公會全國聯合會(CAREB)之大使機構，成為建立強化全球聯盟夥伴之間交流的全美網絡成員之一。
Global Business Council Mission Statement (西聖蓋博谷房地產協會國際地產委員會宗旨):
The Global Business Council of West San Gabriel Valley Association of REALTORS® connects real estate professionals to an active global network of members in over 50 countries and prepares REALTORS® to serve the growing international market in their local community. NAR's international mission is to maximize global market access and profit for REALTORS® so that they can achieve business success in an orderly and ethical market.

WSGVAR Selected as Ambassador Association to Taiwan (R.O.C.)
SAN GABRIEL, CA - The West San Gabriel Valley Association of REALTORS® (WSGVAR) was selected on November 19, 2009 to serve as the Ambassador Association to Taiwan (R.O.C.) through the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®' (NAR) International Ambassador Association Program.
As the Ambassador Association to Taiwan (R.O.C.), WSGVAR:
- Hosts and assists delegates from Taiwan (R.O.C.) during official visits to the U.S.
- Helps delegates from Taiwan (R.O.C.) navigate NAR's REALTOR® Annual Conference and Expo
- Provides association management advice if requested
- Provides opportunities for member-to-member business contacts

Taiwan (R.O.C.) Trade Mission was a SUCCESS!
The West San Gabriel Valley Association of REALTORS® International Committee, as the newly appointed Ambassador Association to Taiwan, has sent a ten-member delegation in a Ice-Breaking Visit Taiwan from March 29, 2010 to April 04, 2010. The delegation was led byits 2009 President, Ling Chow, 2009 International Committee Chair, John Wu, 2009 International Committee Vice Chair, Susan Hsieh, Committee Member & 2007 President, Nancy Lin, Committee Member & 2000 President Brian Chen, Committee Member & Real
Estate Attorney Albert Siu, and committee members, Lawrena Chang, Pauline Lam, Vicky Tsai, and Alex Tsai.
International Education Days.
On September 17, 2010, WSGVAR's International Committee presents the International Education Day from 8:30am to 1pm. Our speakers were Lisa P. Lee (Senior Loan Consultant), Paul Cheng (Attorney), John Hsu (STC Management), Eddy L. Chao (Commercial Real Estate & International Matters), Steve Goddard (President of CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®). Their topics range from obtaining loan for foreign investors to the liaison between USA and Australia.
On October 22, 2010, WSGVAR's International Committee presents the International Food Taste/Mixer Day from 6pm to 10pm. Over 100 REALTORS and their friends joined us for a fun day.
