Become a Leader in the West San Gabriel Valley Association of REALTORS®! Members are encouraged to participate in the planning of association activities ranging from local legislative issues, education and technology programs, to Professional Standards. In order to serve on WSGVAR’s Board of Directors, a member is required to have served on a committee a minimum of one year.

Affiliates Committee promotes and enhances the visibility of affiliates as supportive partners in the real estate community through involvement in association activities and to increase affiliate membership of real estate affiliated businesses.

Bylaws/Policies & Procedures Committee
The committee meets as needed for revisions, updates or recommended changes to the Bylaws and/or the Policies and Procedures as requested and approved by the Board of Directors.

The Finance Committee reviews the monthly operation of the Association Office, reviews a proposed budget to be submitted to the Board of Directors for the ensuing year. Recommend policy changes in order to keep the Association is a strong financial position.

Education Committee provides guest speakers, demonstrations and networking opportunities. Never endorses products or vendors. Sponsors educational programs to increase the professional competence of all members that are pertinent to the real estate industry and current trends for growth in their professionalism and financial success.
Commercial Investment Committee monitors, reviews, analyzes and formulates policies on trends affecting the commercial and investment segments of the real estate market and to sponsor networking opportunities at the meetings which attract the participation of commercial practitioners.

Global Business Council
The Global Business Council of WSGVAR connects real estate professionals to an active global network of members in over 50 countries and prepares REALTORS® to serve the growing international market in their local community. NAR's international mission is to maximize global market access and profit for REALTORS® so that they can achieve business success in an orderly and ethical market.

Grievance Committee reviews and investigates complaints by members and public to determine whether a complaint warrants a formal hearing. Also investigates charges of unethical conduct and presents findings to the Professional Standards Committee for adjudication and possible disciplinary action.

The Legislative Committee mission statement is to be apprised of issues facing REALTORS® on the National, State, and Local levels and to be involved politically through Key Contacts to Local, State, and Federal legislatures, county and city commissions.

Membership/Special Events Committee
The mission of the Membership Committee is to continually recruit new members and retain existing members. Understanding that there truly is strength in numbers, our Association makes membership development a top priority year after year. The Special Events Committee plans and promotes various association social and Foundation fund raising events including holiday celebrations, installation, golf tournament, etc. as requested and approved by the Board of Directors.

Multiple Listing Service/Technology Committee
The Multiple Listing Service/Technology Committee conducts effective MLS Breakfast meetings weekly and improve MLS operations for our members. The Technology Committee ensures the advancement of technology for the Association. It monitors and advises the staff and Board of Directors on all technology related items.

The committee is to plan, oversee the implementation of, and evaluate the orientation sessions conducted monthly for new and transfer members who plan to join as a member of the WSGVAR.

The committee monitors the maintenance, repairs and needs assessment of the building occupied by the Association Office and the Investment Properties.

Professional Standards Committee
Arbitration and Professional Standards Committee is to hear complaints involving arbitration of commissions and alleged breaches of professional conduct under detailed rules. Make money awards in arbitrations.

Sergeant-At-Arms Committee regulates crowd control at gatherings and monitors flyer display at the weekly Breakfast Meetings.
