February 8, 2008 Grand Opening/Chinese New Year Celebration    State and Local elected officials joined more than 400 business and civic leaders in celebrating the grand opening of the new San Gabriel office of West San Gabriel Valley Association of REALTORS® on Friday, February 8. The new office location is 1039 E. Valley Blvd. #205B, San Gabriel, CA 91776.

2007 Scholarships were awarded on May 31, 2007     Eleven scholarships were given to the following: Connie Nham, Alhambra High School; Cesar Salazar, Don Bosco Tech; Noe Leon, Duarte High School; Valeria Garcia, Gabrielino High School; Sarah Oh, Mark Keppel High School; Justine M. Gray, Monrovia High School; Anna Wong, Rosemead High School; Chia Chia Ou, San Gabriel Academy High School; Hien Huynh, San Gabriel High School; Sarah Jane Garrett, San Gabriel Mission High School; and Winny Wen, Temple City High School. Cinco de Mayo Dinner/Dance Extravaganza .. May 5, 2007   The evening turned out exactly as it was supposed to ... extremely entertaining. It started with a Mariachi Band, Dinner, Azteca Dancers, and finished off with 3 hrs of dancing to a live DJ.

Scholarship Bingo Night .. April 17, 2007     Kudos to Yin Bihr and the rest of her Scholarship Committee members, Art Luna-Master Chef & his crew, and Yolanda Martinez & her "ice cream sundae" crew. We would like to express our thanks to all of the people who purchased tickets and came to play Bingo. This event was a success and raised funds to be used by the Committee to award scholardships to deserving graduating seniors with our communities.
