Renew Your License
A California real estate licensee is required to take 45 hours of continuing education every 4-year license term. Whether you renew a Salesperson/Broker license for the first time, or renew a Salesperson/Broker license for the second time and onward, we are always here to help you.
It’s recommended that you start the renewal process at least six months before your license is expired. To find out when your license is expired, click here. As a reminder, the CalBRE mails a renewal reminder letter to the licensee's mailing address of record approximately 60 days prior to the license expiration date. The reminder letter is sent as a courtesy only and non-receipt of the letter does not relieve the licensee from the responsibility of renewing the license.
