The West San Gabriel Valley Association of REALTORS® (WSGVAR) has been established since 1922, representing approximately 3,000 REALTOR® members.  WSGVAR is the Voice of Real Estate for the Los Angeles County/San Gabriel Valley area serving the communities of Alhambra, Rosemead, Monterey Park, San Gabriel, and Temple City.

Our membership is composed of residential and commercial REALTORS® who are brokers, salespeople, property managers, appraisers, and others engaged in the real estate industry.

WASHINGTON (March 20, 2019) – New findings from a National Association of Realtors® survey show that more Americans believe that now is a good time to purchase a home. Consumer opinions about home buying bounced back in the first quarter of 2019, with 37 percent stating that they strongly believe now is a good time to buy, up from 34 percent in the last quarter of 2018 but down from 38 percent one year ago.

LOS ANGELES (March 19) – California home sales bounced back in February after hitting the lowest sales level in more than 10 years the previous month, the CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® (C.A.R.) said today. February’s annual sales level was the highest in six months, and the monthly growth in sales was the highest since January 2011.

The last quarter of 2018 registered a solid increase in the volume of sales transactions in LCRE markets, closing the book on the year on a high note. Investment volume in the large cap space totaled $160.0 billion during the fourth quarter, a 20 percent jump from the same period in 2017, according to Real Capital Analytics (RCA). Deal volume advanced for all property types, except development sites.
