The West San Gabriel Valley Association of REALTORS® (WSGVAR) has been established since 1922, representing approximately 3,000 REALTOR® members.  WSGVAR is the Voice of Real Estate for the Los Angeles County/San Gabriel Valley area serving the communities of Alhambra, Rosemead, Monterey Park, San Gabriel, and Temple City.

Our membership is composed of residential and commercial REALTORS® who are brokers, salespeople, property managers, appraisers, and others engaged in the real estate industry.

For years, several factors have been tossed around such as high home prices, fear over the last housing crisis, delays in family formation and even student loans as reasons why the younger generation is holding out.

Investors are bullish that more Americans will choose to be renters, and they’re buying up even more single-family homes to make sure they are ahead of the trend.

WASHINGTON, DC – The Fannie Mae Home Purchase Sentiment Index® (HPSI) fell 1.6 points in June to 90.7 after reaching new survey highs in April and May. The decline can be attributed to decreases in four of the six HPSI components.
